Power Probe PPPWM Pulse Width Modulation Adapter Tip
The Power Probe PPPWM Pulse Width Modulation Adapter Tip adds adjustable PWM signal generation capabilities to compatible Power Probe circuit testers equipped with 4 mm banana plug connections. Designed for diagnosing electronically controlled automotive components, the adapter generates PWM drive signals with an adjustable duty cycle from 5% to 100%, allowing technicians to test cooling fans, blower motors, fuel pumps, solenoids and actuators under different operating conditions. With a switching frequency above 22 kHz and output current up to 10 amps, the adapter can directly drive compatible components to help isolate electrical faults and identify malfunctioning components or control circuits. A backlit LCD displays duty cycle and supply voltage, while built-in overheat and ground-fault warnings provide additional protection during testing. Powered directly through a compatible Power Probe circuit tester, the adapter requires no separate battery.
