The resin-covered honeycomb with its prismatic pass-through hollows allow air to pass through which results in evaporation. It is this phase transition of liquid water to chilled vapor that turns hot stuffy hot air into fresh cool pleasantness. The touch control variable fan-speed settings and water-flow controllers allow you to precisely deliver just how much cool air you need and how much water flow is desired to lengthen the running time between fill-ups.
